FAQ
What exactly do you do?
To get a better understanding of what I do and what services I offer, feel free to view my What I Do page.
What is the first step I need to make if I need design work?
The first thing you need to do is fill out a request form which should consist of your name, email, budget, timeline, and a detailed message explaining exactly what you need designed. This first step is crucial in getting the ball rolling. The clearer you are upfront, the easier it will be to get started on the design project if we decide to move forward. You can fill out a request form here.
What is your payment process?
My payment process is simple… 50% upfront and 50% at completion. Before the design project begins, 50% of the total payment is required upfront as a retainer. This is to ensure that both the client and I are dedicated to the design process. This retainer is non-refundable. Once the project is completed and all final revisions have been made, the remaining balance of 50% will be expected no later than 3 to 5 days after completion.
How do you accept payment?
I accept most payments for design work via Paypal. It’s a convenient, easy, and safe service that handles fund transfers securely. Once the design project is agreed upon, payments can be sent directly to me via Paypal.
What happens if I decide to cancel the design project once you’ve already started working on it?
It is my absolute goal to complete the project at hand within the projected window of time. The completion and proper execution of this project is dependent upon both the cooperation of the client and the commitment of me, the designer. If at any time the client decides to end the project prematurely, any remaining balances will be forfeited and the design project will be discontinued.
How long does it usually take you to complete a design project?
On average a design project can take anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks. Depending on how many projects I may be working on, a project can range from 1 week to a month. The best way to help reduce the time it may take to complete a project is by being clear and detailed upfront concerning what you need.
How many revisions do I get?
Each design project is given 1 free revision (if necessary). All additional revisions will be charged on an hourly rate of $50 an hour.
