Client: New Birth Student Ministry
I just finished designing a flyer for a client, New Birth Student Ministry.
The flyer will be used for print advertising to promote an upcoming event. The event is called “Hype Night: Daddy’s Home”. The event will highlight the importance
of fatherhood with a panel discussion from influential leaders, artists, and fathers within the black community (ie. Bishop Eddie L. Long, Yung Joc, Canton Jones, John Gray, and Will Packer), as well as a fashion show and an after party for the youth.
I chose a color scheme that allowed me to mix a dark brown with a loud orange.
I chose a bold font called “Bernard MT Condensed”. I also made use of orange vector icons to bring attention to certain important info. And I developed polaroid frames for each speaker to give the front side of the flyer a twist. I used a silhouette of the Atlanta skyline to give the flyer a signature feel.
