My Role: Illuminator & Lead Designer

Xavier Brandon is a young and aspiring artist, speaker and leader. He approached me with a vision to ideate and develop a personal brand around who he is and what he does. My role in this project was to illuminate and bring light to the potential and possibilities in developing a personal brand.

Designing wallpapers is a way of merging ideas with pixels. Being a quirky kind of designer, I find very blunt and strong statements to be the most inspiring. Sometimes these statements are meant to be edgy to challenge the status quo, and sometimes these statements just serve as motivation to stir us on toward something. ”DES” is a popular quote and it’s one that gives me that extra push to jump all in and take risks. Fell free to download the wallpapers.

During the summer of 2011, I did a study on love based on 1 Corinthians 13. This time of meditation and growth inspired me to create a wallpaper to serve as reminder during that time. Understanding what love is has helped me understand how to love… how to be more patient, more kind, address pride, reduce anger, etc. It’s a very powerful few verses that I figured would be best remembered if I designed it.
